Paul
M. Avampato is currently the Vice President, Logistics Operations
for Kraft Foods North America. In this role Paul is responsible
for the leadership and execution of Kraft's transportation
and distribution activities for the US and Canada. In Paul's
most recent role he led the distribution activities for
the US warehouse and direct store delivery operations of
Kraft Foods.
Paul
started his career with Nabisco Brands, Inc. throughout
his 25 years with Nabisco and now Kraft, Paul has held various
assignments in transportation, distribution, customer service
and product supply. His accomplishments in these assignments
have resulted in Paul's career steadily progressing into
positions of increased responsibility within the Kraft Supply
Chain. Most recently, under Paul's leadership, his team
has begun to integrate Kraft's supply chain with several
key customer's supply chains resulting in improved service
and cost reductions for both Kraft's customers and Kraft.
Paul
is a 1982 Graduate of the Pennsylvania State University
in Business Logistics. He lives in Libertyville, IL with
his wife Joanne, son Daniel, and daughters Anna and Maggie.
