19th Annual State of Logistics Report

Surviving the Slump: 19th Annual State of Logistics Report Business logistics cost in 2007 were at $1.4 trillion, an increase of seven percent over the previous year. Higher inventory carrying costs outpaced the flagging U.S. economy pushing logistics costs as a percent of Gross Domestic Product(GDP) into double digits for the first time since 2000. What are the causes, what are the implications and trends for 2008 and beyond?
