Valerie Bonebrake, Executive Vice President, Chief Logistics Officer, YRC Logistics, discussed strategies and shared some of her experiences doing business in China.
Valerie Bonebrake focuses on global business development for YRC Logistics, working across the YRC Worldwide enterprise on global growth initiatives. She leads the teams responsible for global brand strategy; global sales strategy and execution; global sourcing and provider development; M&A strategy and partner development; major account development; and quality. Bonebrake was named to this position in 2005 after serving the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Bonebrake has more than 24 years of experience in developing high-performing
transportation management teams. Prior to joining YRC Logistics, Bonebrake was
Senior Vice President of New Services for Yellow Transportation. She also had
general management responsibility for Exact Express, Customer Solutions,
Specialized Delivery, and Truckload Transportation. Before joining Yellow, Bonebrake
was Corporate Officer, Vice President and General Manager for Ryder Integrated
Logistics, where she built highly successful sales and operations teams focused on
the high technology and telecommunications vertical sectors.
