A LOOK INTO MILLERCOORS’ MERGER AND THREE-TIERED SUPPLY CHAIN

Before SABMiller and Molson Coors merged in 2008, the companies were the nation’s number two and number three brewers, respectively. Our meeting will communicate how the brewers successfully integrated a complex, three-tiered supply chain, including changes to its breweries, distributors, transportation and logistics strategies, and organization structure. MillerCoors representatives will also explain what makes the beer industry’s three-tiered supply chain different than other industries and how it optimized transportation miles from a cost and sustainability perspective. The event will be held on the 16th floor, which is the MillerCoors corporate office pub. After the presentation, we will have the opportunity to sample some of the most popular beer brands available in the market!
