EVENT OVERVIEW:
Peapod has grown to become a leading Internet grocer. A wholly-owned subsidiary of international food provider Royal Ahold, Peapod works in partnership with Ahold USA supermarket companies including Stop & Shop and Giant Food. Attendees will be able to tour the massive Peapod DC and learn about the daily challenges of serving the Illinois and Wisconsin markets.

Agenda:
Check-in at 2:30 pm.Tour begins at 3 pm. Peapod recently shipped its 20 millionth order from its distribution facility in Lake Zurich. During the tour, attendees will learn about the daily demands of serving the Chicago and Wisconsin markets. In addition, Peapod will detail a new initiative to expand its service hundreds of miles beyond the IL and WI markets. Peapod will also provide snacks, featuring a collection of the fresh food the company delivers each day to its customers.
