The theme for this meeting is RAIL SHIPPING 2015: MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF HIGH DEMAND and MARS is hosting a very full agenda filled with keynoters and all stars. Some of the highlight speakers are (in order of appearance):

MARS will continue their popular series of: Rail-Customer Success Stories, this year addressed by GR Lyons, President, Lycon, Inc and Ken Lucht, Director of Government Relations, WSOR railroad. There will be an all railroad panel discussing Rail Service.
Additional content includes the “Railroad 101”, “Railroad 201”, “Railroad 301” and “Intermodal 101” seminars. The subject matter to be covered in RR101will be the basics of rail operations and moving a shipment on the railroad with the goal of helping those new to our industry understand how a railroad works and RR201 will cover doing business with the railroads. These courses will be taught by John Schmitter, President of KEP LLC and Professor at Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. Railroading 301 will explain the basics of railcar fleet management and will be addressed by David Sellers, AVP, Automotive, TTX (INV). Intermodal 101will address the basics of intermodal service and terminology and will be hosted by Ron Sucik, president of RSE Consulting. There is no charge for these seminars and it is not necessary to attend the conference to attend the seminar, so please invite anyone you feel may benefit from this subject matter.

The current registration fee is $215, for the entire program, including breakfasts, conference, luncheon, reception and MARS dues for 2015, a great value for this content and quality of conference. No refunds after December 27, 2014.
The hotel has allocated a block of rooms available from January 10th through January 18th at a preferred rate of $133, single or double, including internet access.
