CSCMP CHICAGO presents:
Lunch & Learn: Weber-Stephen Experience
THURSDAY MARCH 9, 2017
Please join us for lunch at The Weber Grill Restaurant – Schaumburg and enjoy a full Weber experience. We will hear from Dean Duffy, Executive Vice President Global Supply Chain, Weber-Stephen Products LLC as he shares their transformational journey of consolidating warehouse locations from seven to one – – lessons learned, benefits and things to consider.
The presentation/discussion will be followed by a chef grilling demonstration and lunch in the Grill Room.
Weber-Stephen Products LLC constructed its new 757,120 square foot Global Distribution Center in Huntley, Illinois. The new facility allowed Palatine-based Weber to consolidate distribution locations in Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania and Nevada. The new building will allow Weber to convert existing warehouse space in Huntley to manufacturing. The building and remaining land can accommodate Weber’s future growth through a 405,600-square-foot expansion which would bring the building’s total size to 1,162,720 square feet.
Come join us for an educational as well as an engaging dining experience from one of our area’s leading companies and innovators.
