CSCMP Chicago is hosting
TWO Holiday Happy Hours in 2022:
one in the city and one in the suburbs!
Holiday Networking and Discussion: “SCM Talent Discussion”
::::::::::::
For our first event on November 30, Miquel Serracanta, International Chair on the CSCMP Board of Directors and founder of Solutions Decisions, will lead us on a discussion of Supply Chain Management skills with comparisons between the US and Europe.
Event Date: November 30, 2022
Event Overview:
Following the rhythm of technology via hard & soft skills: The Challenge for all SC professionals
The pace of technology development is unstoppable in all market sectors and business functions, making the necessary regular adaptation of the professionals impacted by each of them increasingly complex.
In the last two years, and due to the extreme difficult circumstances that have affected global Supply Chains, these developments have been exponential in the Supply Chain functions, in order to obtain maximum visibility of real time location of products and enable more efficient decision making.
In this session we will share and discuss how the changes in this dynamic environment have impacted the skills required for Supply Chain professionals, as well as the differentiation between the so-called “soft” (personal) and “hard” (technical) ones. In addition, we will compare US and European dynamics, usually not so well known without crossing the ocean.
