CSCMP Chicago is holding a southwest suburbs Happy Hour February 23rd!
Date: February 23, 2023
Event Overview:
CSCMP Chicago is holding a southwest suburbs Happy Hour in February!
We’ll meet at Franklin’s Public House on Harlem Avenue, which is just over two miles from the 127th Street exit off I-294. Our session will be hosted by Geoff Shive with a discussion on “Planning for Risk”.
We live in a world of change. If the COVID-19 pandemic and other events of the last few years have taught us anything it should be that we cannot take current stability for granted. Companies that do well at identifying and planning for risk are more likely to turn unexpected shock into success.
How can we build risk assessment into our planning processes? Some tools we might use include a risk register, SWOT analysis, a tornado diagram, or simulation. Our speaker will lead a discussion on these and other tools that are used to anticipate, plan for, track, and respond to risks and opportunities.
